King David the Recruiter born and commonly known as David E. Taylor is the pioneer of the biblically based Hip Hop genre in the Twin Cities.
With 25 years of history performing and ministering he is well experienced and equipped to make an impact on every stage big or small. He is the owner, founder and the first artist of the label. He is an author, evangelist and scholar of the Hebrew Scriptures.
Born in Chicago Heights, Illinois with residence being taken in Louisiana, Tennessee and, Georgia he now finds his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota along with his wife and son.

David Gordon, aka King DaYahwid, brings over 30 years of experience in the music industry and currently serves as the Vice President of Straight Street Records. A former member of the Christian hip hop group God's Anointed Soldiers (G.A.S.) alongside Ryan Upton, King DaYahwid contributed to four impactful projects: *R-U-Ready*, *Crimson Promise*, *The Alternative*, and *WAR*. With over 20 years of experience as a producer, artist, and studio engineer, he has worked with a diverse range of artists.
King DaYahwid's journey took a transformative turn in late 2017 when he began awakening to the TRUTH, influencing both his personal and musical life. His upcoming solo project, *Kings & Priests*, features powerful tracks like "Hesed Lion," "Fallen Soldiers," "Cover You," and "Abba Yah." His latest release, "Trumpet Blast," along with other singles, is available on all major streaming platforms.
In addition to his music, King DaYahwid has launched a beats page to offer high-quality tracks to fellow artists. His creative and spiritual evolution continues to shape his work and impact in the industry.
